Birds Helping Rhino

Dislike0 Published on26 Feb 2013

Red Oxpecker Birds climbing into rhino's ears and onto his toes to peck off the ticks that are irritating him. This is a good example of a mutualistic relationship where two organisms of different species work together. The oxpecker bird gets ticks to eat and the rhinoceros has pest control. @tekweni for more fascinating African Wildlife behaviour.
